Day 3
Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing the hotel for Cheow Lan Lake, an easy 45-minute drive.
Upon arrival to the lake’s jetty, you’ll board a long-tail boat for a stunning one-hour ride to your floating raft house. While technically a reservoir, Cheow Lan Lake was created in 1987 when construction of the Rajjaprbha Dam concluded. The lake’s scenery is dramatic as jungle-clad limestone karsts jut from the water as local long-tails whip about the calm waters.
You'll arrive at your floating raft house in time for a local lunch.
This afternoon, you can choose between a hike to Pakarang Cave or relax at the raft house or use one of the free kayaks to explore on your own. The hike to Pakarang Cave, often referred to as Coral Cave, is a short, easy trek through a bit of jungle. The cave is known for its whimsical stalactites and stalagmites, krill rocks and petrified corals dating back some 10,000 years.
Dinner at the floating raft house.
